FOTSMS (Friends of Tedburn St Mary School) our school Parent/Teacher Association.  We are a Committee of parents and we fund raise throughout the year to support the school in providing the children with education enhancing experiences and resources.  All parents are automatically members of FOTSMS when children join the school.

 If you feel that you wuld like to be part of the team but don't feel you can commit to being a full Committee member, then we have FOTSMS Lite - a Whatsapp group where we post requests for help (be it volunteering at a fair or baking a cake!) and you help with what you can, when you can.

Over the years we have been able to provide many resources, including play equipment, Reading for Pleasure books, help with the Forest School area and equipment, the potting shed, kitchen equipment, school garden landscaping, leavers' hoodies, new starters' book bags and much more!  Our latest endeavours have enabled the school to begin transforming the old swimming pool space into an outdoor sensory playground.

To raise funds, we hold a Summer and a Christmas Fair, as well as smaller events like Hot Chocolate Fridays!  We have held two very successful lambing bingos and our inaugural Chedburn Cricket match against Cheriton Bishop School in the summer of 2025 was a huge success.

We have our Annual General Meeting in April each year and welcome all parents to attend and share thoughts and ideas.

We have regular announcements in the weekly Newsletter and on social media.
